It was fantastic to visit Salon International again this year, catch up with so many amazing people, watch the incredible shows and to see our work across the event!

We were proud to see these photos featured at the event, shot for the new Toni & Guy LEGACY campaign, celebrating the life and love of Toni and Guy founder, Toni Mascolo MBE. Shot over the course of a week in South London, and art directed by Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, we worked with LabelM and Essensuals, with Lan Nguyen-Grealis on makeup to create a series of portraits celebrating the incredible legacy of Toni and Guy.

Toni and Guy staged a phenomenal show at Salon International , attended by 3000 guests, to launch their legacy collection. I was lucky to catch Lan Nguyen-Grealis backstage and hear a a little about the immense work that goes into creating such an impressive show. Below are some shots from the styling room!

Whilst backstage I also bumped into Lulu Reynolds, who appeared in the catwalk show. Lulu and I shot together on one of her first campaigns for Essensuals so it was great to catch up and take a couple of backstage shots!

It was also wonderful to see these photos we shot for Rush on such a large scale at the event. The amazing colour tones in these images were created by International Colour Director, Chris Williams at Rush.

We are also proud to appear n the cover of the September issue of Professional Hairdresser, with this BlondeMe shoot for Schwarzkopf, and a feature on Salon International.

It was a real pleasure to catch some of the amazing live shows at Salon International this year. Hooker and Young created a stunning show with 4 looks spanning 4 decades of style. I was especially captivated by these amazing soft curls for the 70’s collection.

Tom Connell, artistic director at Trevor Sorbie also staged an incredible show, live cutting hair on stage with a comb and razor, as per his signature style. He created some beautiful textures in the model’s hair, playing with form and colour to produce a cut so demonstrative of Trevor Sorbie’s contemporary creative style.
